Scientific achievements of the International Humanitarian University and ways to further improve research work

On 9 April, the university hosted a roundtable discussion on the topic "Scientific achievements of the International Humanitarian University and ways to further improve research work". The roundtable was attended by heads of departments, heads of faculties, leading scientists and lecturers of the university. Also present at the roundtable meeting were the Rector of the International Humanitarian University, Doctor of Law, Professor K.V. Hromovenko, the First Vice-Rector, Doctor of Psychology, Professor V.O. Lefterov, and the Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor V.B. Bedan.

The Rector of the International Humanitarian University, Doctor of Law, Professor K.V. Hromovenko, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the roundtable, emphasising the special importance of the development of science and research in higher education. He noted that it is the combination of elements of research activity and the organisation of scientific research carried out by students under the guidance of the teaching staff that is an important factor in the training of highly qualified specialists.

In the reports, the heads of the departments shared the scientific achievements of their research and teaching staff, which are presented in the publications of foreign scientometric editions of Scopus Web of Science and domestic scientific journals, told about the implemented activities such as the organisation and holding of international and all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences, round tables, webinars, trainings, workshops and introduced the perspective plans of the department's research work, which will be implemented by the end of the academic year. This interim report of scientific and publication activity provided an opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of the academic staff of the International Humanitarian University, to outline the prospects for research and international cooperation.
