DISCUSSION OF THE OPP PROJECT AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MUSICAL ART AND SOUND ENGINEERING

On May 8, 2025, the Department of Musical Art and Sound Engineering held a discussion of the project of the educational and professional program "Musical Art" 2025-2026 academic year at the bachelor's and master's levels of higher education, in which applicants and teachers of the department participated. There was a lively and interested discussion of the cycles of mandatory and elective disciplines that make up the educational programs, as well as interesting proposals from applicants regarding the expansion of the professional content component of a number of mandatory disciplines: Thus, Anastasia Savchenko, a 2nd year student of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, was proposed to include in the content of the mandatory discipline "Foreign Language in a Professional Direction" the topic of the practical lesson "Features of Translation of Dante Sound Engineering Protocol Terminology" in the first semester of the 1st year due to the great practical need to master the specified terminology. Other applicants also provided interesting suggestions regarding the mandatory and elective educational components of the program. The head of the department, associate professor, candidate of art history T.M. Kaplun, senior lecturers of the department N.V. Kravets, N.E. Arkhipova, Y.M. Romenskiy, M.G. Horovenko and applicants discussed the proposals provided and came to fruitful results regarding the enrichment and further improvement of the OPP "Musical Art".
