During a training practice at the sound studio of Odesa Film Studio and the correspondent office of “UA: Odesa – Suspilne,” a professional workshop was held with the participation of students and faculty from the Department of Cinema and Television at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the International Humanitarian University. The workshop was dedicated to enhancing the creative mastery of future announcers and television hosts.
The primary goal of this educational event was to introduce young creatives to communication techniques using non-verbal forms of interaction with technical means in a “real-time mode.” The participants were fully immersed in the creative process, realizing that a career in television is a lifelong journey. Professional knowledge and practical skills in a specific field contribute significantly to ongoing professional development.
According to Associate Professor of the Department of Cinema and Television, Serhii Danylenko, modern media dictates its own rules: creative professionals must quickly navigate the information space and efficiently prepare texts. At the same time, more and more employers seek not just qualified employees but genuinely creative individuals.
“The primary objectives are, first and foremost, to develop students’ analytical and creative abilities, their critical thinking in the process of acquiring knowledge and practical skills, and to facilitate their professional qualification, individual differentiation, and specialization in creative professions,” emphasized the media trainer.
