On June 17, 2025, the webinar “PTSD Identification and Management” was conducted as part of the project 101183228 — MIND — ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CB-VET “Mental Health Solutions for Educational Inclusion in Distressed Ukrainian VET” (MIND) (Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training — CB-VET).
Among the project consortium participantsm is the International Humanitarian University.
During the session, representatives from UNINA University presented key challenges related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as effective management strategies, methodologies, tools, and resources aimed at fostering interaction among all actors in the educational environment.
The UNINA team also shared research findings and focused on essential aspects of PTSD identification and support, including the creation of psychologically safe and non-triggering spaces that avoid retraumatization.
Consortium members from Ukrainian educational institutions contributed to the discussion by sharing their own wartime experiences in building safe educational spaces, offering socio-psychological support to learners and staff, engaging with students affected by trauma, and managing institutions under martial law.
We deeply appreciate everyone’s involvement, meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and valuable materials.
