There may come moments in each of our lives when the ability to provide first aid can save a life. That’s why the instructors of the Faculty of Management, Hotel and Restaurant Business, and Tourism at the International Humanitarian University completed the certified Basic Life Support (BLS) course, organized by the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Therapy, and Emergency Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health at MGU.
What did we learn?
What is particularly important? The training was not only theoretical but also practical, using modern equipment. Thanks to the initiative and support of the University President, Sergey Kivalov, a modern simulation center was created.
Hotel and restaurant business and tourism are not just about service but also about responsibility for the safety of guests and colleagues. That’s why this knowledge is invaluable for teachers, students, and all those working in the hospitality industry.
We thank our colleagues from the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health, particularly Simulation Center Director Professor Oleg Tarabrin, Associate Professor Ekaterina Kirpichnikova, and Yevhen Bugayenko for the unique opportunity to gain practical skills that can save lives!
