PANEL 6 — “War Trauma: Challenges of Clinical Psychology. Psychological Health of the Nation”

On April 11, the International Humanitarian University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Forum “Reconstruction of Ukraine: Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Applied Analysis and Development Potentials”.

On behalf of the President of the International Humanitarian University, Academician Serhiy KIVALOV, during the grand opening, the rector of the International Humanitarian University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Kostyantyn HROMOVENKO, addressed the participants with welcoming words. The vice-rector of the university, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Vasyl LEFTEROV, and leading scientists from Ukraine and abroad (Portugal, Bulgaria, Tajikistan, Mexico, Palestine, etc.) also conveyed their greetings.

The forum became a platform for dialogue between scientists, authorities, business and the public sector on the reconstruction of Ukraine and the formation of strategies for its sustainable development.

The event included a plenary session and discussion panels, in particular Panel 6 — “War Trauma: Challenges of Clinical Psychology. Psychological Health of the Nation”, moderated by the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Natalia MELENCHUK and Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Svitlana YERMAKOVA.

During the speeches, invited guests shared the results of their work to ensure psychological health, develop innovative conceptual and applied solutions aimed at restoring Ukraine, the nation: stakeholders, practicing psychologists and representatives of the academic community (O. Panchenko, N. Kabantseva, V. Bosko, R. Myrna, O. Demennikova, Yu. Makeeva, S. Gerega, M. Abdullaev, A. Bortov, M. Permyakov, A. Yukhymchuk and others).

Young researchers from the scientific group “Psychological and Pedagogical Laboratory” also joined the discussion.

At the end of the forum, the organizers summed up and thanked each participant for their active and productive participation.
