History of the International Humanitarian University
Based on the provisions of the national program "Education", the principles of the Concept of Humanitarian Education in Ukraine, and the requirements of current legislation, on August 20, 2002, the International Humanitarian University was established as a private higher education institution with a collective form of ownership.
The time of the establishment of the university turned out to be successful, and its place of foundation in the university-developed region is justified. This is evidenced by the fact that for 18 years of the university's existence the qualified personnel potential of the selected areas of the educational activity has been formed, the necessary educational and methodological support has been developed, the proper material base has been rebuilt and the relevant social infrastructure of the university has been created.

The first set in 2003 was only 100 applicants. Currently, more than 4,000 students study at four faculties and two institutes of the university.
The university has a cultural center and a film club. The construction of a 24-storey dormitory, a conference hall, a sports center, a student cafe and a state-of-the-art library is next.
