"On August 19, Orthodox Christians celebrate one of the 12 most important holy holidays - the Transfiguration of the Lord or as it is customary to call this day, the Apple Savior. The Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord was established approximately in the 4th century in honor of the miraculous event of the earthly life of Jesus Christ described in the Gospel.
In order to provide students with the relevant knowledge and skills, a teacher must constantly develop him/herself and learn new information. This applies to teachers of foreign languages in the first place, because of the necessity of practice, communication with native speakers, study of dialects, changes and novelties in the language, and new methods.
Transfiguration of the Lord is one of the most important (twentieth feast day) holidays of the Orthodox Church, which is celebrated on the same day - August 19th. On this day, we recall the gospel event, when, on Mount Tabor, the Lord was transformed in front of his disciples, and the apostles John, Peter and Jacob saw Him in all His Divine eternal glory.
