Arina Leonivna Frumkina graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of the I. I. Mechnikov Odesa National University with a degree in Language and Literature and received a master's degree in philology, a teacher of German and English languages and literatures.
During her student years, she studied in the Federal Republic of Germany under the grant programs of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), namely:
1. The 17th Landeskundlicher Sommerkurs für Studierende des Faches Germanistik (17th Country Studies Course for German Studies Students), Regensburg, Germany.
2. International Summer Course at the University of Augsburg, Germany (Der Internationale Sommerkurs der Universität Augsburg).
3. Hessische internationale Sommeruniversität, Marburg, Germany.
From 2010 to 2017, she worked as a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the I. I. Mechnikov Odesa National University.
In 2011-2014, she studied for a postgraduate degree at the Department of German Philology of the I. I. Mechnikov Odesa National University, and in May 2015 defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.02.04 - Germanic Languages on the topic: “Phonostylistic Variation of Vowel Onsets in Federal German Television Discourse (an Instrumental Phonetic Study)”.
Since September 2017, she has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages at the National University “Odesa Law Academy”.
In 2020, she was promoted to associate professor.
From 2023 to the present, Arina Leonivna has continued her career as the Head of the Department of Germanic and Oriental Languages and Translation at the International Humanitarian University.
Over the years of her scientific and pedagogical activity, she has received numerous grant-funded advanced training programs, not only in Ukraine but also in the Federal Republic of Germany:
